1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using sonny.gg, the sonny.gg Discord bot, or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
sonny.gg provides a Discord bot and web dashboard for managing Discord servers. The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Access requires a valid licence key, obtained by purchasing a subscription through our website.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — access continues until expiry.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. All sales are final.
4. Licence Keys
Each subscription provides one or more licence keys (depending on your plan). Licence keys are for personal or organisational use only and may not be resold, transferred, or shared outside your organisation. Each key may only be activated on one Discord server at a time.
We reserve the right to revoke any licence key at any time if we reasonably believe it is being misused or used in violation of these terms, without refund.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Engage in illegal activity of any kind
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise the Service
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SONNY.GG AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACTIONS TAKEN BY DISCORD OR ANY THIRD PARTY THAT AFFECT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DISCORD API OUTAGES, RATE LIMITING, CHANGES TO DISCORD'S PLATFORM, OR TERMINATION OF YOUR DISCORD ACCOUNT.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless sonny.gg and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
9. Service Availability
We make no guarantee of uptime or availability. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime or service interruption.
10. Changes to the Service or Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or refund, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
